Armed guards are not outside schools because somone entering and murdering people is not a threat to governmet power. Once it became clear that schools were being targeted this should have been the natural response but instead our children are being held hostage until we submit to the government calls to disarm. armed guards of course are not everywhere. But they are required in areas where people are required to disarm before entering like court houses and the us congress. I am not suggesting we post guards outside every grocery store since people are not required to disarm before entering. United States still maintains nearly 800 military bases in more than 70 countries and territories abroad. However guarding heroin fields in Afghanistan is more important than defending the people in the ACTUAL COUNTRY. With the stroke of a pen we could have troops standing outside all the schools and save money.
