What a refreshing post. Yes, I think they’re disgusting, too. I was telling my new fiancée the other day how glad I was that she has zero tattoos. I’ve always maintained that people who get them - particularly those who get their entire bodies covered in them - have low self esteem. It’s like they’re compensating for not having much of a personality. Kinda like the dudes who get the loud mufflers on their vehicles. My first thought when I hear that stupid shit is “sorry about your dick, bro.” And typically the people who get them are the types who spend their money poorly. I had a longtime friend who is now deceased who was a lazy fuck, always had a hard time keeping a job, etc. Everytime that dumbfuck would start pulling himself up by the bootstraps and start getting his life together, he would sabotage it and then what followed was the “woe is me” routine. I distinctly remember him having money problems, but then every time he would get some money he’d do something stupid like spend it on yet another tattoo.
