Lack of sleep makes you sleepy at the wheel, we need 7.5 hours a night MINIMUM. Anything less than 5 sleep cycles is detrimental to your health, 6 (9 hours) is perfect, anything over 6 cycles forces your body to produce more collagen than necessary, which makes you look young and feel a little tired (despite getting enough sleep). You want to nap after lunch too, just a 10-15 minute power nap with your legs elevated over your heart somehow (recliners work amazing). The majority of work-related accidents occur after lunch, as no one naps after lunch like they're supposed to. I have a tough time driving whilst tired as well, almost drove off a cliff one time. A decade later and I'm a sleep connoisseur, spreading the gospel of our nightly 'death with benefits' to anyone willing to listen. It's how we learn, it's how we remember, it's how we live longer, and how we prevent dementia/Alzheimer's. Sleep is love. Sleep is life.
oooooh yeah haha that sounds like it would do it >_> i think i barely was getting enough sleep to save my life, i was indestructibly young
What is the significance of having your legs elevated over your heart?
Promotes circulation, easier on your heart, easier to relax
