I think it’s one of the poorer school districts. The pictures of the school itself will tell you that much.
I don’t know to be sure, but I don’t live that far from there and have lived in Texas my whole life.
Generally in Texas the way it works is that what we call “West Texas” also compromises the panhandle. That whole area is oil rich and so even small towns around there are able to have nice shit (I’m from there and family was in oil business). Our school was nice, we had nice equipment, etc. and it was a small town.
Big cities like Dallas, Houston, Austin (though not as big) have nice shit..though every city has poor areas of town. Houston has oil stuff, some tech stuff. Austin has tech, Dallas same as it has business with both. San Antonio isn’t that great IMO. And Uvalde is less desirable than San Antonio. Point being, if you’re a small town and you’re outside of the oil patch - as Uvalde is - your school district probably isn’t swimming in enough dough to have a lot of high tech shit. Generally speaking, the further south you get towards the border, the shittier the town (go figure). Corpus Christi is also a shithole.
