My mom needed like 3 grand for mortgage payments they were behind on, then my dad asked to borrow "as much as possible" one day. I went to the bank and took it out in cash. No idea what it was for, honestly.

He was always awful with money. I held his credit card most the time from 11 years old+. I kind of assume it was to pay off a credit card or something.
