Today (Thursday) is the Feast of the Ascension. The Christian belief of the bodily Ascension of Jesus into heaven. Most of the Christian world (I'm talking Europe just from what I know) is currently on holiday and have taken tomorrow (Friday) off so they can enjoy a four day weekend. So upon posting your comment it was indeed like a Friday or Saturday night for a large part of the world, and maybe you were feeling that vibe.
