I’m new to my faith, so this is probably obvious to some of you, but why are people so passionate about asserting that they don’t believe in Christ? I don’t hear people respond to a Buddhist, “I don’t believe in that.” Or anyone else, really. But let someone know that you believe in Christ and so many people’s knee jerk reaction is to suddenly blurt out tha they they don’t believe. I didn’t ask them. I don’t evangelize in an obvious way. I have discussions, in part, to parse out and understand what I think, or what I’ve experienced, because it’s an interesting relationship that I have with God. And it’s even with people that care about me. They’re suddenly focused on their own disbelief rather than maybe being curious. They make my faith about themselves in a way that doesn’t fit with the rest of their personality. It’s only on this subject. Nevermind. I think I figured it out. They are trained to say that. I must be onto something. Flack over the target, I guess. Fucking balls. We humans are easy prey. Go on about your day, or maybe tell me about how you don’t believe in Christ. I’m super curious about all the shit you DON’T believe. Because that certainly makes for interesting and productive conversation.

I'll never understand anyone really caring about another humans beliefs.

I will say that I was raised as an Atheist/Quaker.

I will say that I have recently stepped away from God, and no longer approve of him, or any of his plans.

Not to say I approve of the Satan, he seems like an even bigger Asshole than God.

I simply do not approve Existence.

Anyone who had their part in the making, creation, or execution of this Existence is a fucking asshole.

That includes God and Satan, you and me.

I can not, with my mind, think for a single moment why suffering should exist.

Any Deity that decides suffering should exist is a Sadistic Mother-Fucker.

Fuck Sky-Niggers and Fuck Hell-Niggers as well.

Religion is a belief system. The world power structure wants their belief system to be the only one. We are currently at war in world war three. It's a war of beliefs. The plutocracy wants their religion ahead of all others. For a while it seemed the Wuhan virus religion was in the lead.

[–] 1 pt

But What I’m talking about is the knee-jerk delivery of the assertion of their own disbelief. They aren’t even interested in mine, only their own lack. It’s fucking odd. Like talking to a nihilistic narcissist robot.

I’m curious about your beliefs because you just delivered me an interesting story, and I care about your well-being.

We were Created.

Call it the Big Bang, or Physics, or God, some force at one point Forced all of us into Existence.

It could be random chance, like the Atheist says, or it could be divine force, like the Theist insists.

It is still Fucked-Up.

I never consented to Existence.

I never consented to having a conscious Mind.

I know, that no matter how hard I try, I will fail other people in my life.

And I Hate that.

The thought of not being able to make other people's lives perfect disgusts me and makes me hate myself.

I try so fucking hard, everyday, and I am usually pretty good at it.

But when I do fail, I add misery to the World, and that is something I never want to do.

This is not a good place.

This Place is Wicked.

[–] 1 pt

It is wicked, and getting more so. I usually stay on my farm but I’ve had to do some traveling recently and it’s fucking dire.

I read a book years and years ago about a group of people who believed that in order to be enlightened, you first had to have the worst thing in existence to push back on. Makes sense, really. If you’re going to escape samsara or what have you, you better do something extreme. This could actually be that situation.

[–] 1 pt

And thank you for the exchange. I hope the people in your life appreciate your help, successful or not.

[–] 1 pt

I hear you, man. I hear you. It’s rough out there.

[–] 1 pt

But I wouldn't say it is rough out there.

I'd say, in general, I've been dealt a pretty good hand with life.

I'm tall, handsome, muscular, born in a richer that average country.

And I still feel like shit.

When I lived in India, I saw people who were born into it.

People born by the Canals, which are literal Rivers of Flowing Shit.

They did not choose to be born there. They just were.

Literal flowing shit.

Nobody ever chose to be born.

We just were.

Serious, question: If you absolutely had to, how would you make existence? No cop out. I have no answer I’m fishing for. You have to make one.

[–] 2 pts

As always the answer is jews. Specifically the anti Christian propaganda they push with media. They think you will start making arguments with the presuppositions of your religion because that is what they were taught to think of christians. So they want to "nip that in the bud" so you won't waste thier time with baseless arguments.

Jews???? Cmon, they’re neverrrr the bad guys in movies! They can’t be bad!! Bee bop boop. 🤖

Also i'm not aggro at all. I reserve the right to change my opinion on your god botherer shit by the minute.

Upvote for interesting poetic sentiment.

People smarter than me have done some philosophical science mumbo jumbo bout the series. Season 1 of True Detective is art. And only season 1.

[–] 1 pt

100% agree. I don’t know how many episodes into season two I got, but I just remember some miscast 90s actor making me grind my teeth. It wasn’t many. But One was a special thing. Also Northman is fucking dynamite, imo

They're Marxists, and Marxists hate Christians because Christians are overwhelmingly anticommunist.

[–] 0 pt

It’s interesting because Christians, at a certain scale (the community) are quite communal. They’re the only ones that have a chance at living up to the from each according to…” stuff. In my neighborhood, you got a problem, you got a friend with a truck, tools, gun and a smile. They’re not even all religious in any sense but the effect hasn’t worn off yet. I wish that for everyone.

God bless you. God bless you and keep you. maybe people are really afraid of a day of judgement. and by you being Christian you will be part of that judgement. put them at rest. just tell them that Jesus didn't hang around saints.

[–] 1 pt

This post is a great example.

You come in here bellowing about your beliefs. You think some fictional character named Jesus came to this planet from a supernatural God and that he gave you instructions on how to live.

And no doubt, you spew this idiotic trash to people in real life. Expecting them to give a fuck. Expecting them to listen.

But then, when they turn around and say "well I don't believe that" - you bitch and play the victim. Because on the cult of Christianity, it's somehow magically different when anyone else expresses their beliefs (or lack thereof) as proudly as you do. If other people do it it's oppressive, or annoying (gasp)

Christianity is a cult, and it makes its followers think they're special. That's why you get told people don't believe in it - they want you to shut the fuck up like the rest of us and just believe whatever stupid shit you want to until you die like everyone else.

Christianity is only special according to Christianity. If you wanna think otherwise, only talk to Christians

[–] 0 pt

That’s it. I’m convinced. Off to temple I go. Gotta get fitted with my tiny hat and self-loathing.

I only talk about it when necessary as my faith is my own. I barely understand it. It’s something I wasn’t looking for and it just showed up at a point when I was exhausted, alone and hungry. I think I mentioned that I don’t evangelize.

That being said, your ass is gonna burn if you don’t your head straight. I’ll pray for you, robot.

2000 years of Christian douchebaggery, murder, torture, rape, demogogery, condescension, and for decades now, victim-centric incompetence which has surrendered literally every aspect of social governance to the left except Jesus, fags, and abortion... Three issues the Federal government should have absolutely no opinion on.

Christians, Muslims, and Jews are collectively the dindu nuffins of modern society.

[–] 1 pt

Christians are easy prey. If every Christian reacted to slander and insults as muslims do, no one would be fucking with us. Today even the most limp-wristed leftist faggot can desecrate Christ to a Christian's face and fully expect to walk away unscathed. This has to change.

[–] 0 pt

Yeah. I’m in the camp that thinks the business about the “meek” inheriting things is a bad translation.

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Because they don't expect you to fight for your dignity. They expect to bully, disrespect you, and piss on your religion without you doing shit about it. You need to be jihad defensive about it. Tell them you will kill for your religion if it ever came to it and you're proud of it. Some crazy insane bat shit like that. Then be vile towards them. IDK, I'd never let some jew or atheist piece of shit be disrespectful to my face. I'd fist fight them over it. I really don't care at this point. Take me to jail fuck you. I purposely wear a cross around my neck but no one wants to play with me. Waaaa

[–] 0 pt

I guess that’s why people are terrified of Muslims. I used to train with this guy who was a Muslim. Despite Islam probably being Satanic, you gotta respect the fact that that is EXACTLY how he would respond. Something to ponder.

[–] 1 pt

Next time call them out. Tell them something like. Yes I'm a Christian and I'm proud of it. Does it bother you? If so what are you willing to do about it? Something like that... If it's at work play by the same game. Go to HR get them fired for religious discrimination. Say they made you feel unsafe and unwelcome.

If you're not in a work situation then you can be more aggressive but you really gotta have that energy that you are willing to fight for Christ. That you are willing to put on the armor of God and carry the sword of righteousness not just figuratively but physically too. It has to be lights out demonic fucks. I'm all for people doing whatever they want but don't you dare say anything about my cross myob. Those are fighting words.

Christianity is the enemy of communism. That's why all the flack.

They are more upset at you for going against the grain and rocking the boat. Liking Jesus is so strange to people that they find it offensive. They have been conditioned to think Christians are intolerant, unintelligent, etc, a lot of other bad things so they immediately think you are those things.

I was atheist, militant at one point but I saw all the things I was told Christians were were actually liberals and atheists. I also saw that no liberals were volunteering or actually helping people beyond bullshit virtue signalling social media shit. I volunteered in one of the bluest areas of the country and it was almost all Christians feeding the hungry and clothing the poor. All those rainbow flagged, mustachioed dicksmoker Hillary lovers don't really give a fuck about anyone, even if they are the right color. I saw Christians helping people in a place that constantly talked shit about them. Though I never hated them, it changed my view drastically. Like everything else people hate and are afraid because they believe what is told to them rather than what they see with their own eyes.
