I live in the south so none of that winter blend shit you yankees go thru. Both my vehicles I swear are getting worse. I cant really keep totally accurate track cause I got bigger tires but know I could for just my use. But wtf does it matter I still got to buy the shit.

Ok, I dont keep track, tire size doesnt matter for fuel use. It just seems I need to fill up more than before.

Tire size does in fact change the gas mileage you'll get on a vehicle. How could it not?

A bigger tire has an increased circumference. For every rotation, the vehicle travels further. But it still registers the same on your dash, because the mileage shown is based on the number of wheel rotations. When it says you've traveled 1 mile, you may actually have traveled 1.2 miles. You may think you re getting, for example, 18 miles per gallon, when you are actually getting 22 miles per gallon.

I suggest you find a measured mile, drive it at exactly 60 MPH with a stop watch running, and see how many seconds you are off a minute when you complete the distance. Don't start from a standing start, enter the mile at 60 MPH. It should take you exactly one minute. Bigger tires throw out your speedometer reading as well as your odometer reading.

Bigger tires on your drive axle will certainly up you better gas mileage .lLittle slower off the line though I used to put high profile tires on all of my pre computer cars You can do it on computer cars to but only slightly bigger profile or it will throw the computer off. C'mon man
