About 30 years ago in indiana. Saw several in fact including the mother ship which was easily a couple miles wide. The big ship had a cloudffront in front of it: like it was making the clouds. It was a clear night and we headed to a lookout point to 'snuggle'. (Me and gf). Was taking a walk up there and noticed it had gotten cloudy: QUICK. Saw some weird lights and that huge cloud front: I thought it was ball lightning or something Back in the car 15 mins later and we saw 3 lights low on the horizon looked like stars, but too low. Saw one jump twice and cover hundreds of yards per jump. Next minute its right above us. .maybe 15 feet above us. Got along close look. GF was freaking out, spun us out of there. DON'T really remember the next hour or so. Got home white as a ghost, parents thought we'd been in an accident. This was a mass sighting. It was in the news the next day. Police followed some lights. Firemen saw it. Lots of civilians saw it. They made a couple movies/documentaries about it years later: Indianapolis mass sighting of 89 I think (88?) ..
