Calling on the experienced and recent parents here. Wife and I are expecting our first baby soon. What should I watch out for at the hospital delivery? I have seen info on delayed clamping, antibiotic eye goop and deferred vaccinations. Any insights?

Be aware of what an AMA form is. Against medical advice form. If your wife is being coerced into unnecessary treatment from the hospital, like with a c section for example, knowing what an AMA form is will help her leave. Don’t sign consent forms just to get away from crazy doctors, or because they say you have no choice. If they say you have no choice they’re lying, and it’s a form of consent under duress. Demand the AMA form. Declining the IV will also prevent her from getting stuck there against her will. I was forced to have a c section, don’t let that happen to her..
