FEDEX in my local area is great, the drivers ring doorbell and are courteous, but if a package comes from outside the are it has a 50/50 chance of going through a black hole distribution warehouse. The one east of us things go there to be stolen, the one to the south seems better. I have had a 500lb generator disappear, and more small parts than I can count. I now only choose UPS and if they only ship Fedex I make sure I don't need it in a hurry as it may take two or three tries to make it to the better distribution point.
