Ordered a reasonably expensive phone and the seller used fedex. FFS they claimed they attempted a delivery and they didn't. The nearest holding location is in a poor nigger neighborhood. Aint going there I'm not going to be surprised if I don't get it.

Seller is responsible for getting the item to you in the condition it was sold as. Don't get it, get a refund or replacement and don't let them play the blame game. FedEx here is a nightmare too and I have so far had three drivers fired for reporting they put my package in the mailbox.

Which they're not supposed to do seeing it's not regular mail.

Yup. The choice of courier is the vendor/seller's business relationship, not yours. It is the vendor/seller's responsibility and right to make a claim for lost goods, not the recipient.

I have literly watched amazon toss shit from the driver's window to my porch. Given was sub contracted delivery drivers not the amazon vans with cams

Work hard. Move into white neighborhood. They’ll leave every box without knocking and your neighbors won’t steal it because they’re not niggers.

Alternative is get a UPS Store box. Still cheap enough but anything that doesn’t fit in your box means you have to get there during business hours.

USPS PO Boxes now leave a key to a larger, temporary box for larger packages but you’ll have trouble getting deliveries to a PO Box. Cookies from mom will arrive no problem. Oh, and you’ll have to deal with an entitled nigger bitch government worker at the desk when you set up your box.

You have to get the number to the actual Fedex where the package is getting put on the truck and delivered from. Then you have to call them and either pick it up yourself or harass them to put it on a truck the next day depending on your circumstance. The easiest way to get the number is to call a nearby Fedex center and get it from them otherwise they aren't listed online typically.

You don’t. You deal with the original vendor. Have had the same problem multiple times over the last few years, was always able to get another shipment, or refund. It’s sad to realize how far this once reliable company has fallen.

Years ago I bought a phone, shipping via fed ex.

I specifically had it delivered to a package handling service because I didn't want the theft risk.

the package was "delivered" and fed ex obtained a signature from the desk guy.

I never got the package, Had to file a police report in order to get a refund.

The police got a hold of the surveillance video. Turns out the fed ex delivery guy put the drop off packages on the desk. After counting, he snagged a few packages while the desk clerk signed. Police said that they often had issues of employees stealing packages, notably along fedex routes owned by a specific person.

Easy, just don’t live in a shit hole area.

You can select a different location for the package to be held for pickup.

We had a friend send a dry ice packed ice cream (as a surprise) which FedEx left out of sight on the porch of a nearby empty house. It was over 90 days before we found it and their limit for claims is 90 days. Fuck them.

I guess this depends greatly on where you are located. I'm fortunate to be in a small (and somewhat safe) town where the FedEx, UPS and USPS employees all seem to provide excellent and friendly service. Always on time. Many of them make the extra effort to ring the doorbell when they leave a package on the porch.

I've had a few $4k FedEx/UPS deliveries recently and thankfully they actually came to the right address, and actually got a signature rather than leaving it on the porch.

FEDEX in my local area is great, the drivers ring doorbell and are courteous, but if a package comes from outside the are it has a 50/50 chance of going through a black hole distribution warehouse. The one east of us things go there to be stolen, the one to the south seems better. I have had a 500lb generator disappear, and more small parts than I can count. I now only choose UPS and if they only ship Fedex I make sure I don't need it in a hurry as it may take two or three tries to make it to the better distribution point.
