Its real. I had the OG covid back in 2020 with loss of smell and everything... Fucking it does weird shit to you. There is a set of inflammatory marker tests done by incellkine that is one of the only things I have found as a test for long covid. BTW I'm not some fat piece of shit, would run like 20-25mi a week and lift. Been on some support channels and it seems like there is a contingent of endurance athletes that got long term symptoms from OG covid. It will shake out someday with what it is but it is def real.

I lean that way yes. And, I had one kid who lost smell and taste as well, but no heart problems.
But, my oldest is having heart problems.
Both have been vaxxed and both had covid.
