Get a roaster and buy green coffee. MAKE IT YO DAM SELD
Cafe Bustelo, it's good and cheap.
we have a 6-week auto-ship 5lb sack of Viennese Dark Roast beans from nuts.com. Way decent price, great tasting coffee - can change delivery frequency rather ad hoc as well.
Ruta Maya. Grown by Mayans in the Chiapas Highlands of Mexico. Roasted in Austin, Texas. The Medium Roast is the Crown Jewel of their offerings.
Try to find a local roaster. This is mine: https://wrcoffee.com/
I just buy whatever whole bean coffee I can find at the grocery store. There isn't a big selection since most people go for the K-cups, or ground.
The stuff I've found online is way more expensive and especially considering the shipping charge.
I concur with previous advice that you should stick to shade-grown organic whole beans. Here is a roaster in Gardnerville, Nevada that I buy from (not sure exactly what the people are like but they roast a good bean)-- Local stores in Nevada and Eastern California carry it too.
I'm always open to a good whole bean. I go for the taste and variety, not necessarily just for cheap. A coffee I really liked was Peru grocery store. Can't find that where I'm at so I've been roaming online with no loyalty.

is good and has a quiz to find your coffee based on your preferences. Don't know anything about their politics.

It looks like they're saying it's voluntary in states that don't require it and mandatory in states that do require it (as of the date of the notice). That seems the best you can expect from a food service corporation.
Happymug has been pretty good for us, excellent service, good prices, honest reviews. Sweet Maria’s has more expense coffee but a better selection. I have issues with their evolving philosophy and love of Africa and leftism over simply running a good coffee business though.
