Doc is pushing us to get out 11 year old daughter vaxxed with this. After the Covid bullshit, I don’t trust them. I tried doing an internet search but all I get are CDC links and propaganda media.

I’m inclined to say no to this, but I’d like to have some solid justification.

Doctors kept pushing me to get that as a child even when I kept telling them I'm not sexually active. They never believed me.

I had one pressure me at 30 to get the HPV vax! I always tested negative for HPV and as I aged the doctors were getting more and more adament that the test must be wrong.

At 38, the doctor said I lied about only being with 3 partners in my life and insisted on a second test. When that came back negative and she lectured me on how I probably have it, so I stopped going to anyone other than my naturepath.

Sounds like an asshole of a doctor. Was it a woman? Maybe your low body count shamed her.

Yep a woman. I have moved a lot and changed doctors a few times - mostly I only go to make someone close to me happy. I usually just end up with female doctors. I had one male doc that was actually cool but I moved. Now, I have a naturepath and she is actually great and lets me decide how to handle my health. I usually only go see her if I need to bounce ideas off someone willing to read lab results.

I rarely go to doctors now. Maybe I'll go consistently when it comes to pregnancies or once I'm 50+, but until then I'll minimize interactions with them.

When I was in my early 20s my doctor recommended I get that jab under the reasoning of "If you're sexually active you should get it". My response was "I'm not sexually active and never have been" and he dropped it after that. To this day I've only ever had one partner, my husband. I'm no whore so there was no need for me to get that bullshit.
