Come to realize I did what I said I never would, all my music for years has been streaming. Then I went waaay out there where there is no internet to speak of, and it was quiet.

Now part of my reason of going that far out is for the peace and quiet, not a dog barking, not a vehicle noise, nothin. It’s sweet. But I also have a monumental amount of work to do and that is better with music, have to take it with me. I haven’t download much in over a decade, I don’t even know where to start, where is a honeypot of bullshit files, where only has current music (most of it is total crap, and manufacturerd garbage) that the kids listen to because they don’t know any better…. You get the idea.

I would be hugely appreciative of any insight my fellow poalsters can cough up.

Ya, something like that. Ever seen mosquito coast with Harrison Ford? That’s a pretty darn close idea. About as close To “ Beam me up Scotty, I want off this damn planet” as you can get.

Sound like a smart man you do. In anycase i recommend getting the audiobooks by Graham Hancock; fingerprints of the gods and magicians of the gods. When youre bored of music. So you can listen to fantastic history while you work.
