Laying in rotting vegetation and mud, during monsoon rains in South East Asia, playing hide and seek with people with guns.

Juvie, it's worse than county jail.

Bus from Manali to Leh. Takes fucking 20 hours on the bumpiest road and while I didn't get altitude sickness, every time you go to sleep you wake up three minutes later feeling out of breath. Surrounded by stinking Indians. Bus driver doesn't sleep, just pulls over ever 5 hours to more Chai. Bus driver takes "short cuts" which really just mean off-roading the bus in the fucking Himalayas. Very few guard rails. Looked over the side few times, once I saw a bulldozer that had clearly fallen 1,000 feet down, just sitting there, wrecked. If you want to shit you have to do it when the bus stops, and they don't got toilets nowhere, so even though it is in the middle of nowhere, there are piles of frozen human shit all around.

Nice views, terrible sleep.

Worked in that shithole country for 9 months.

There are some really beautiful parts, but I saw a lot of really fucked up things when I was there.

I woke up in a filthy ass bathtub once, but I think wins this one.

Literally slept in "Ranger Graves" in Iraq. Dug down into sand, near my truck and slept hard in the sand. Did that sometimes for 4 or 5 day stretches on my first tour to the Sandbox.

I'm really good at getting home; or jail. One of the two. I have mates that used to crash in construction sites, fields, and on people's lawns. I'm better than that.

So either jail or a random kind person's floor would be the worst

In a Freightliner's top bunk going through Shreveport on I-20.

24 hours in the syracuse bus station. Wire rod chairs, no bench to lay out. 2nd place, 14 hours in the Madrid airport, had to sleep on the concrete floor.
