I don't like to sterotype an entire generation as there are always exceptions and reasons why people behave the way they do. Just as millennials Gen X, and Gen Z all have different personalities. There are many buckets that people tend to fall into regardless of their age. May it be political, religious, or psychological. Some adults act like children, and some children act like adults.

However, I think the Boomers are a generation raised in one of the most economically successful times in history and have become completely selfish in their customs of perfection that their ancestors are mainly responsible for. They were born out of the success of winning world wars that they had no participation in. Unlike the previous generations, the ones that lived through the Great Depression and The Great War, they were simply 'taught' what hard times were but did not nearly have to experience them firsthand like their parents. I believe those times traumatized the Silent Generation so much that they sought to over-spoil their children as a reaction for them to avoid ever knowing what real poverty and war feels like. I believe this behavior created a sour taste on American Exceptionalism and Capitalism that is primarly responsible for where the nation is today.

So what is the difference between Millennials and the Boomers?

You may read the above and think the same thing about Millennials and Gen Z generations. I may stand against the tide on this, but I disagree that Millennials are a worse generation than the Boomers. Boomers tend to grasp onto their money and stomp out anyone who disagrees with them as mortal enemies. Boomers believe they may be the superior generation of all time as they control the job markets, legal system, religious systems, and ultimately reign tyranny on the younger generations who see life through a different perspective than they do. I believe no matter how corrupted millennials may be, they think bigger than their parents and grandparents about the possiblies of the future. They are also not nearly as afraid to take risks and challenge the status quo. Something that Boomers have been hard conditioning against on their children for so long.

I believe many Boomers and Millennials have sold their souls to Tyranny and seek to destory each other instead of working towards a peaceful separation. Boomers are afraid of change, mostly because it may threaten their mountain of wealth. Millennials are afraid of religion because of the cult-like personality and secretness of it all to condemn them to Hell for sins they know nothing about. Boomers have refused to learn technology and deem it as the destroyer of mankind because they are scared of it. Millennials have encapsulated themselves into technology because they don't know anything else. Most are living in massive debt and will never get to afford to see the glory of God's nature unlike their parents.

Moral of the story: Boomers suck and so does every generation to some degree. Recognize and learn from their failures and define your generational morals and don't stick to the stereotypes.
