Two reasons. One is lots of people hold everything on margin and must liquidate when things go down. Stocks and crypto included.

Other thing is the trucker crypto seizures scared some ignorant people about crypto because they don't understand it couldnt have happened if the trucker crypto wasn't being held on exchanges.

I suspect it's actually a good time to buy everything right around now because the nuclear war fears are dissolving and this things will probably be repurchased.
