Crypto markets so far have been cyclical and we're just coming out of a 2 1/2 year bull run. Bear market was coming no matter what as people begin to take large profits. It may have been accelerated by recent events but it was inevitable anyway.
The rest of the market follows bitcoin and every 3 years or so it dumps 85%. Nothing much different is happening now as far as I can tell.
