I have a friend who needs help. They need prednisone and the doctors won't do a fuckin thing. They don't listen.

Prednisone will royally fuck you up if you don't know what you're doing, so maybe the doctor has reasons.

The doctor doesn't have reasons. They have all the knowledge there are years of proofs with their chronic illness. The doctor wants to run tests that have already been done multiple times so they can bill health insurance. The prednisone works.

Seconding this. Prednisone is a very effective immunosuppresant. This is very helpful if you're experiencing a severe immune overreaction (e.g. I once had such severe tonsil swelling that I didnt sleep for three days because anytime I nodded off I'd immediately choke on my own spit), but the side effects are major. Minor colds will knock you flat on your ass, anything worse will hospitalize you, and you'll have food cravings like you're preggers.

Go to the doctor, explain the symptoms clearly, and weigh the tradeoffs.

Prednisone can be a (literal) lifesaver, but its risks are no joke.

When I was on it, I was having basically roid rage. Anything could set me off and I would get super pissed. I had tons of energy and didn't sleep much. I was glad to finally be off of it.

Most Indian docs will oblige you if you pay them cash.

I think in india itself you don't need a perscription for anything. Pharmacists are basically cheap mans' doctors.

Great system for people who fucking hate doctors who keep trying to control you with prescriptions.

Go to America's frontline doctors website. Legit doctors will give the prescription.

Go to a doctor, urgent care. Pay cash, tell them you have no insurance. When you see the doctor, if he isn't going to give you a script, offer cash. Maybe write your offer on a pice of paper and show it to him. Google and failbook are always listening from the cell in your pocket.

This is why I store prednisone. When I need it, I fucking need it. And I get more than fucking tired of doctors that try to use it against you.

Try one of those online doctors, there are always foreign doctors working out of Florida that will prescribe whatever you want.

I've actually bought prednisone from inhousepharmacy.vu or something like that for eye problems that doctors didn't help with, the website worked well and i got real stuff.

Tell him to just go to doc in the box and get a prescription. I'm not aware of any reputable sites that will sell to you without one. I'm sure you can order it on Silk Road or something, but that's your risk.

I think the user is referring to tele-medicine. Video chats with a doctor. I personally would never use it.
