Think about what warp speed means... traveling very fast. Skipping to the endgame. Which means whatever team Trump plays for believes they have won the game and want to get the final stages to prove out they've won. Is he bought off? Could be, which is why you should always be skeptical and realize that even good people fall to the temptations of corruption.
You think this is about starting a revolution? We've been living in one since any of us were born and programmed into our respective factions. The reality is when you start dismantling a deeply rooted political faction there will be fallout and some pain.
