Not being welcome is something us redditors goats poalers are used to. We're constantly playing a game of host/ service provider jumping as a result of who we are.

How is it that we struggle to maintain free speech, while pedos are cozying up with children in the dark web? It's maddening that they can get away with their inhumane behavior, while we are denied basic community.

Here comes the dangerous question:

Do you think that there are any technical lessons that we can learn from pedos which would help us to keep our community running?

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could convince GAB to host us? Just listened to their timcast appearance. Didn't realize their infrastructure was so independent, gives me hope!

this is what a parallel economy looks like. if you want to register a domain you need to use epik, if you want to do payments you have to use crypto (for now).

Gab is getting big, but i don't think they want the kind of attention that hosting us, glp, stormfront, etc. would bring. Eventually I think that something like gab will become the "aws" for people who don't want to be babysat, but they aren't there yet.
