The Chinese have trouble with their "r"s. They tend to turn the "r" into an "l". Thus, "Pork fried rice" becomes the ever-popular "Pork flied lice."

A Chinaman would pronounce "grill" as "glill."

They can get soft rs like in “pork”. They also have difficulty with hard Ls.

I’d imagine it would sound more like griwwl
