I've had about three friends use Kickstarter or go fund me to help them start their business. It just doesn't sit well with me. If you can't raise enough capital on your own without my donation, perhaps maybe you are not ready to launch? I mean, it's not up to me to make sure your dream gets funded. And to be clear, INVESTING in a business is something I CAN get behind. It's the basics of business and capitalism. But you only offering me a branded coffee mug for donating $200?..not so much.
