Granted religious exemption from vaccine for my job. I have to Get tested once a week using the ID NOW pcr test and have been for months.I also have to wear an N95 with a Face shield because I have the religious exemption. This is extremely difficult to breathe in by the way for 8 hour days.. Everyone else just has to wear a blue surgical mask. I missed getting one test and had to sign a disciplinary paper , first and only time I've ever had a disciplinary action against me but the box they checked on the paper said it was a Final Warning. They said if I am ever late getting my test results by 2pm every Friday they would terminate me.. There were 2 other boxes that could have been checked as a first Warning and then a second Warning.

Today, I turned in my test from Monday. I go to work and 3 hours later I'm told that they do not accept the test I have been getting from a pharmacy at the drive thru. I noticed that others in the office were getting email copies of my test results and I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be private. The supervisor told me I have to get another test next week, wait 3 days for the results and then the week after I can return to work. They won't pay milage for the weekly test or for the test if this other test they are asking me to get costs money. It's also a PCR test by the way. it seems like this company is harassing me suddenly and are looking for ways to get me out. The company is also mostly composed of LGBTQ hires and BLM supporters. They celebrate Juneteenth with holiday pay. I am the normie in the company, white and Christian. Idk what to do or how to combat this crap but it feels like harassment and like I'm being targeted suddenly. I can't work now for 2 weeks and I'm not getting paid off or anything.

What is the best course of action from here on out?

The first question is probably "what did you agree to?"

If you agreed to an insane policy and couldn't keep up with it, then that's not really a case. But if you agreed to one policy and they keep unilaterally changing it to be more annoying without explanation, then that starts sounding like discrimination.

Basically been taking the same covid test and now they are saying it's not acceptable. And so I asked what parameters is this test not acceptable and I'll be waiting for a response because it's a rapid pcr test but none the less a pcr test. It's free the other one is not. I'm not paying for mandated shit if the company isn't covering it.

Yeah, I'd make sure everything is documented. A lot of these companies are playing fast and loose with the law. In a normal world, they would get crucified in court for making a mockery out of the religious exemption laws. But there aren't enough qualified lawyers to deal with all these potential lawsuits, and the good ones are mostly taking on big multi-plaintiff cases.

I honestly think we'll need to get smart on the legal process and fight our own cases in court. Because most of us can't afford the legal fees, even if a lawyer is available.

Aren't the mandates also suspended because of the Federal Court ruling?

Why is one test free and the other is not? Get a written list of their requirements for an acceptable PCR test. Take it to the free test location and get them to certify that they meet the requirements.

The one where you have to pay gets sent to a lab and takes 3 days to get back. The free one is same day. It seems they are trying to place a huge burden on us with the time it takes and if it's not back on time we get written up.
