I knew when I was falling asleep when I remembered where I left off the night before. It continued for about three months. My awake state seemed less real than the three-month-long dream. Someone told me I was "serial dreaming" and it was extremely rare. Have you done it?

Had a dream once that I was eating Trix, but when I found out they are exclusively for children I woke up......more of a nightmare!

It’s happened to me a few times. But only when I woke up in the middle of a dream, went to take a piss or get some water, and then went back to sleep. I would finish the plot.

When I was a kid, I used to throw darts at my 12 inch GI Joe dolls. And almost always had a nightmare that same evening that the dolls were alive and coming after me. I had about 100 of those. Not sure if that counts as a serial. I always won the day by making my stand on the stairs.

When i was around 8 years old i remember looking forward to going to sleep, because i would wake up in another world, and i was fully sentient there. it was quite astonishing, all i remember now is that the world was magical. I remember flying. I had a family and friends.. They knew i also woke up in this reality. Its only a blurr now, i just remember i had it for many years, sometimes every night, sometimes months inbetween.

When i was 16 i had the final dream, and i remember i woke up sad because i had said bye to everyone there. Later that same day i ran into a metal bar and hit my forehead pretty bad, big fucking lump (no blood)

Havent been there since.

Fun memory tho.

Flying dreams are so fantastic. When I was around 10 years old, I dreamed I was cruising around my neighborhood, just above the telephone lines, like swimming a backstroke. So sweet and relaxing. Then my mother and sister on the ground yelled up at me that I could not be doing that. So I crashed to the ground. Don't remember any good flying dreams since.

Yeah, ive had lucid dreams before, you should teach yourself to do it. Its awesome :) but this was not it.. I was riding something, an animal of some kind, its vague. But i member telling my mom about it. And i remember thinking how fucking cool it was..

Yeah... mostly in 115200 baud, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit. Some nights however, the parity is odd...

Yes, but never on consecutive nights; they're often separated by many years. There is one place in particular that is an amalgomation of places and people that were important to me in my adolescence. It is like a hub where old memories resurface. The topography and zoning of the "town" is always the same, but the conversations and actions with phantoms of the past are always different. I've been there about half a dozen times. Every time it happens I wake up nostalgic and sad.

In my mind, that place feels every bit as real as the town I grew up in.

I've had a couple that seemed to be connected, but I attribute that to the situation I was in - that of an event I was attending so there was plenty of similar things going on.

Yes, about living in a zombie apocalypse. Every now and again I pop back into that world and things have progressed.

I lucid dream so Iv a million unique experiences but there was one night I felt like I was getting pulled to hell or something. It was back when I was a piece of shit. I had stolen some pain pills and takin them. The way I was sleeping I could see a digital clock so I knew what time it was. It was 3 am. Every time I fell asleep I would be floating in a black void and some demonic voice would say “come here” and it would grab me by the face and I would fly a million miles an hour through this void and I would wake up from the intensity. It just kept happening over and over and over and I would wake up over and over and over. It happened 6 times. From 3 am to 4 am then it stopped. It was creepy. I also have a city I built in my dreams that I revisit from time to time.

Yes, one stands out. Like a 6 episode movie, night 1 was first part, night 2 was first and second part, night 3 was first second and third parts etc….

It was a schematic of a rather intriguing device. On night 6 I finally grasped the full concept a d never had it again. Though I did build it, much to the contrary of current laws of science. Fun stuff.

No but I once had a dream that, in dream time, spanned years. Like, I lived another life for many, many years. When I woke up, I was a bit freaked out because I had a many years long experience while sleeping. It was weird.

Also, very intense dreams are always my first pregnancy symptom.
