The housing market is on a down turn. This time last year houses sold before their listings hit, at sometimes 30% above asking. Not an exaggeration. This year, people are starting to get offers accepted, and not at much over asking price. I know several realtors and they've all said the market is finally starting to cool a bit. We're still a ways off from a bubble bursting, but the signs are pointing to us passing the peak of housing insanity.
