You need boots with a breathable waterproof membrane such as gore-tex or sympatex. This will allow your feet to breath so they won't get too sweaty and stay dry from the elements. They make steel toe boots with gore-tex.
Darn tough socks are the tits.
I wear these year round
They are the best. I was thinking of buying more recently. Last time I bought them, they were like $12 a pair. Now they're like $27.
I mean 2 layers. Silk or synthetic undersocks and wool or synthetic oversocks
Darn Tough wool socks.
To me, socks are not nearly as important as the boot. If you want warm and dry you need military bunny boots. https://armysurpluswarehouse.com/black-mickey-mouse-boot-with-valve/
Some socks get wet after awhile in good boots. I work in the elements and need to wear steel toe boots. My wool socks keep.me warm but my feet sweat.
Have you tried Merino wool?
A clean pair every day paired with a good all-weather boot
Name actual products, you bastards.
Dunno the brand, but regular socks inside of the scratchiest wool socks you can find inside of Sorrell snow boots with liner does me pretty good lol
Snap on socks. They are amazing.
Good boots, thick cotton socks.
Best I've used are pure wool thick socks for arctic wear.
