Let's say you are a working professional with over 25 years experience on the job, with the perks that go along with it. Your employer mandates the vax according to federal contractor guidelines. You are against the vax, question validity and safety being reported about it, and recognize that politics have irreversibly obfuscated and stifled all debate on the topic. At what yearly salary level do you think you would consider putting your concerns aside, taking the vax, and continuing on as best you can while rolling the dice on side effects, long term effects? Some assumptions: * all alternate employers in the industry have over 100 employees and either have, or could, mandate the vax like your current company. None would pay as well; * leaving the industry opens up jobs less than 100 employees and no chance for vax mandate, but eliminates using the industry specific value and knowledge on which your current significant salary is based;

You couldn't pay me a million dollars a year to take the vax
Fuck You!

You could offer me a trillion dollars and I still wouldn't take that garbage. My dignity, self respect, and moral code does not have a price tag that will change it.

That's small minded and naive/juvenile.

I respect your desire to express the magnitude of your resolve as it pertains to the lengths you'd go to preserve your honor but if your answer is no at a trillion dollars you are either a selfish little shit or you are refusing to answer the question honestly. Or you could be dumb.

What you could achieve with that amount of money is preposterous!

Or I could be someone who gives zero fucks for material goods and is debt free. Small minded or naïve/juvenile? Quite the contrary.

I agree 100% with you and think the other guy is full of shit for saying it would be worth taking literal gene altering fucking poison to get a trillion dollars and "do good things" with it.

Fuck that.

It literally has nothing to do with material goods.

The degree of change you could have on the world as it is today is mind boggling!

Fuck planes. Fuck mansions. Fuck bitches (oh...you will be)!

You could reshape American society back to what you consider right. How? Well, a number of ways. Let's say you took the "legal" path. You know, basically the reason America fell into the political trash structure were in today is mostly lobbying. There is nobody anywhere who could lobby harder than you.

Or you could take the illegal path and buy a whole bunch of arms and threaten and strongarm your way through it.

You could make the world right.
You could end world hunger.
You could invest ACTUAL research and development that would lead to energy independence for all.

All for your measly little life. The same one that's gonna end in a very short 40-80 years from now. Or sooner!

A trillion dollars would offer the possibility of helping family, friends and engaging in philanthropy the likes of which is difficult to fathom. I would take the jab and be very generous with sharing the money. Maybe even give a million to to keep the lights on here for a while.

I don't give a rat's fucking arse about philanthropy and the amount of family and friends I have are relatively small, none of whom are driven by material interests. As long as the bills are paid, I don't give a fuck about shiny toys or trinkets.

[–] 1 pt

Philanthropy as I imagine it goes beyond trinkets. But I get your point- the jab is a line in the sand you will not cross.
