They couldn't pay their bill and i was talking with my father about just paying their bill for the next payment cycle of 3 months. It could help them out and also keep the neighborhood looking clean. We wouldn't ask them but just do it, then put a note in the mailbox stating anonymously what we did. Is this a retarded idea or an ok idea?

The one way I could see it could backfire is if they go ahead and get caught up on their bill. Not communicating could create that situation. I guess that's not the worst thing in the world to happen, but you might not end up doing anything then.

Is there a way to ring up the company and ask them to credit their specific account?

I talked to the company already about it. I actually asked them if we could just pay by month and they said sure so it probably be like 33 or 34 bucks. They're getting evicted by the town because they haven't paid their taxes. but I have no idea when that's actually gonna happen. Nobody knows them because they're not super friendly but every now and then someone will be able to talk to one of the family members living there and they seem ok just weird.
