Gas stations typically carry milk, eggs, bread, then snacks and pop at a price higher than the grocery but good in a pinch if needed. The actual homeless who ask for spare change ask once then leave you alone. The drug addicts ask repeatedly then try to intimidate woman and teens into giving them money. Always carry or keep something with you for self defense and tell your mothers, wives, daughters and sisters never go to a gas station after dark alone. kidnappings are happening more and more.
Gas stations take food stamps. The trash likely doesn't care if they are paying a little extra. It's not their money.
If one lives in an area that has this at gas stations, then full service stations are the way to go.
I haven't seen a full service gas station in 30 years. Where do they still have such a thing?
All over the place. Some places like New Jersey (I'm NOT suggesting going there) have laws where a gas station attendant must pump your gas for you....I don't know if that is still the case for the entire State, but I've even come across full service stations in the the middle of nowhere (Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin).
