Sit out gmo and non gmo corn, and the squirrels can tell a difference. This experiment has been done. Yes, there's a difference. Just because you are too dense to see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Eat heirloom vegetables and local meat when possible.

[–] 0 pt

Weird but not a terrible edperiment... I would have thought pigs would have been a better animal to use because their sense of smell is insanely good. Yes I am very dense so let's be respectful I will treat you fucking inbread gay gamma weak minded bitch self with the same type of respect you used. Go fuck your fat mom you stupid bitch.

[–] 0 pt

Pigs are not picky will eat anything. Anything.

[–] 1 pt

They especially love people pieces ....so I've been told

[–] 0 pt

Look into how they can be trained to find truffles and sniff out cancer in humans. You would have to train them, but I'd they couldn't be trained to tell gmo and organic from regular maybe we would have our answer

[–] 0 pt

You new to the internet? Relatively mild insult and you let it control your actions and response? Tsk tsk. Gonna need to lurk more faggot.

[–] 0 pt

I am obviously not knew but I don't let faggots talk to me and not return it in kind is all. Most of my interactions are normal

[–] 1 pt

I’m not sure LeBron wasn’t grown in a lab.

[–] 1 pt

if he was made in alab, they would have given him a >80 IQ.

[–] 1 pt

Forty of them would test positive for WuFlu.

there was a study almost a decade ago that found GMO caused tumors in rats. the study has been retracted but its not the only one of its kind and I haven't bothered to look into why it was retracted: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0278691512005637

A lot of people mistake "GMO" with selective breeding because they sound like the same scientific process. Found a way to produce seedless watermelons? That's GMO, right? No. "GMO" refers to the produce which has been modified to produce its own pesticides (e.g. Roundup).

The health consequences are long term. I like to call it the "and I turned out just fine" disease.

The higher price of organic food was largely due to a shortage of demand. Now that more people seek out organic, there is less wasted and more being grown which drove the price down. I've been to the market several times where the price of organic and conventional was the exact same. If you see this in a store, which would you grab? You can get your conventional because "it's all the same and you aren't falling for the hippie shit scam" or you can get the organic because "who knows, maybe it is healthier and I just can't tell".

If you are grabbing the organic instead of the conventional when they are the same price, then what about when the organic is just barely more expensive?

About raising kids and feeding them:

Kids have full trust that their parents are doing the best for them. We know organic, (previously called "food") is healthy. Besides the retracted and debated studies (usually criticized by those who have Monsanto as one of their largest supporters), we have no idea the health risks of GMO. It's not fair to the kid that we roll the dice to save a buck if we can help it.

Last edit:

I've made this about "organic" vs "GMO" because I only buy organic to avoid GMO. That wonderful covid-19 vaccine approving FDA has allowed foods to use GMO products without labelling them as such. The only way to avoid GMO is to look for 3rd-party certifications outside of FDA approval, which is the "GMO-Free" and "Certified Organic", then one must hope that the inspector wasn't slacking or paid off and that their certification methods are good enough; but it's the best we have since most of us don't live in small communities where we know the farmers.

Great reply and valid points across the board. Yes a 10% mark up for something labeled organic I'm probably getting it instead. Here in Texas some times veggies are twice as much with that magic label<<< but over all veggies don't cost that much really so not a big deal.

Again great reply or more like an informative post.

Gold chatting with you

You may have been saying it in jest, but if you believe the narrative of LeBron's early life, you're a sucker.

Kid is wanting for nothing.

[–] 0 pt

Ok shit. Good finds on the pics.. but you think he was eating organic

Sorry about my first reply I didn't open the pics assumed it was from past 6th grade. Ya it seems he was not as bad off as I thought or had envisioned... but his mom was legit a crack head single mom in Ohio? You think she was feeding him a proper diet?

[–] 0 pt

Oh as far as a proper diet, you might not be aware of how long ago GMO became huge. Wasn't even a factor in the 80's and most of the 90's.

https://www.greenamerica.org/blog/gmo-timeline-history-genetically-modified-foods

Look at his cheeks, his eyes, his skin health. Boy looks well fed to me. His mom didn't have to know anything about GMO.

[–] 0 pt

Only asking because I know nothing about this guy, I've never been into sports, how do you know she was a crack head, and is there any indication when it began?

I can tell you right now, since I grew up in the 80's too, they had nice things. My home didn't have two TV sets, my clothes were not nearly as nice as his, and the tree never had that many things under it. My mother also could never afford professional photos until much later, and it was only a family photo, not for just the kid. This is a two income family I'm taking about, not a single income as his supposedly was.

If you had a crack head mother, she would sell everything, including you, to get more crack right?

Just isn't lining up to me.

[–] 0 pt

She ended up fucking one of his teammates who was a legit crack head. I think it is kinda well known his mom was fucked up<<< could I be wrong yes

[–] 0 pt

I'm talking about before 6ty grade.. the developmental years the real deal ones.

Any of the niggers when they get big by 6ty grade worry about anything they are groomed Chris webber was like 6 5 in 7th grade and dunking. He had good parents btw and he read a lot very smart for a black guy.

Now go look and see how he has been shit on by the main stream his entire career he didn't fit their agenda

[–] 0 pt

Buy two gallons of milk. One grass fed organic, the other regular go shit. Taste them side by side. Bonus points if you get a cream top organic non homogenized.

[–] 0 pt

Ya there is a guhe difference in mil I'm not sure if it's organic or other factors but I 100% agree and 2% milk is fucking terrible water flavored milk

[–] 0 pt

My thoughts on the organic are that you're getting something sprayed less with chemicals and has more nutrients because of the natural fertilizer and farming methods used. Giving a plant a chemical version of NPK verses a naturally broken down manure compost is going to yield very different nutrition content in the product. Scientist still can't identify all the chemical make up of any fruit or vegetable.

Would you rather eat fruit and vegetable or take a pill to get your vitamins? Rather which do you think is more effective. As long as it's not sprayed down with chemicals which end up poisoning you(at the lowest dose possible) and preventing your body from absorbing the nutrients, the natural way is always better.

Whether or not your produce is actually farmed organic is an entirely different subject. But if you know it is, it's worth it.

I'm working on becoming a homesteader

[–] 0 pt

Best of luck. It's difficult and not sustainable where I am to keep animals if SHTF. basically green house and storing food is the only viable option, then hunting for meat.

[–] 0 pt

Yes, if they took a dna sample dumbass.

I assume scientists would know how to do that.

Organic is a marketing scam. There are relatively few genetically modofied foods. Corn, canola, soy, (beet) sugar, a couple varieties of apples, some mangoes, some papaya, some pineapple...I mean the list is getting longer, but a lot of those things become ingredients in heavily processed foods. Fresh produce is relatively "safe".

In my family we buy mostly very high quality food, but will go to the food pantry and accept some things we wouldnt waste our money on. Most meals we eat are made from scratch using VERY local ingredients...a lot from our property.

[–] 0 pt

I'd like to see this. And good point farmers got in trouble because the gmo shit was blowing onto their fields..

My question would be can it be proven that non gmo is healthier would kid a eating a hippie organic diet be better off then kid b eating same veggies and fruit but had gmo or pesticides what ever the hippies hate most.

[–] 0 pt

The problem with GMOs is that they only use it to make plants more resistant to herbacides. So they can soak the fields in round-up basically. Traces of round up wind up in the food. From what I've heard Monsanto is fighting hard to keep the regulators from admitting that round up can cause cancer. GMO isn't all bad, it's how we get insulin.

[–] 0 pt

Any study would be self selecting of too many other character traits in my opinion.

Concious eating choices are often mirroring conscious acts in other areas.

[–] 0 pt

Take one of the biggest outliers in the world and treat it as the norm. Fuck off.

[–] 0 pt

Wow trwat it as the norm? I've been to Gambia in Africa talk about a bunch of fucking fucked up retarded people. Of course LeBron is not the norm but if organic and all the shit these idiot parents do made as much of a difference as they claim and they look down at people who feed their kids McDonald's and fast food and candy well guess what your pathetic genes will never be fixed by your faggot over protective gay ass organic diets period!...

They would say well if LeBron had been raised in organic non ngo food he might have been 7 feet tall... get the fuck out of here its a God damn marketing scam to make money.

[–] 0 pt

you can tell the difference between apples on different farms, so yeah

[–] 0 pt

When you factor Lebron's brain into the equation, you have a great selling point for only organic.
