I expect restrictions on air, bus, and train; perhaps highway and trail as well.

I think the chance of highway restrictions is low, but I'm sweating about it.

I think they will do whatever we let them get away with doing. They seem to care nothing at all about totally destroying the economy. They seem to care nothing about all the lives their crazy mandates are costing. There is no end to their insanity.

[–] 1 pt

Yep, and we are only 9 months into this insanity. They have plenty of time to starve out and depopulate. The media will be complicit in NOT reporting all the deaths so as not to scare the public too much, too fast.

[–] 0 pt

Sometimes these things only take 20 years, sometimes they take much, much, longer.

[–] 0 pt

Maybe 20 years ago.
We have the internet now, so news travels fast.

I don't think so because it's impractical. The federal government isn't going to start running borders at the state highway crossings. States occasionally do that themselves, so I could see, for instance, California setting up checkpoints (kind of like they already do for other stuff...) to keep people out. At the airport, the Feds already have an in via TSA, so if they were going to do it they could, however I suspect they will force the airlines to do it for them; because why enforce something yourself when you can dump that responsibility on someone else. The airlines will be better at it anyways. Kind of like they're trying to do with the employer mandate.

It'll never happen between red states, in places where you cross a state line and get, maybe, a sign that says you crossed, if it hasn't been overgrown by trees.

No checkpoint enforced by state police == no federal dollars. It's the same lever they've been using for nearly all of this COVID horseshit and the same lever they've been using for decades.

It doesn't have to be practical because the goal is to destory the supply chain, starve out non-compliers, and complete the overthrow of the country without triggering an armed citizens revolt. By the time people take up arms it will be too late...no food, no fuel, no way to get at them.

[–] 1 pt

Agreed.
They could care less whether truckers are able to get supply to your local grocery. In fact, that would help their cause. Newsflash, they are happy to kill off the "vaxed" as much as the unvaxed.

[–] 3 pts

They don't have to set up checkpoints, just license-plate scanners, which are already in many places. BOOM! A week after your road trip, you get a court summons to appear. Then you get charged with felony __________.

[–] 3 pts

I could definitely see this. Also, the weigh stations for truckers could easily be a clot shot check station. How about the dui "check points" could also implemented. I see nothing off the table from this piece of shit dictator.

[–] 2 pts

Exactly...nothing is off the table. Shit can and will get crazier. Today's conspiracy theory is tomorrow's reality.

[–] 0 pt

Not as simple as it seems all my vehicles are held in different companies.

[–] 0 pt

They have already installed these in many major roadways as a "illegal immigration deterrent".

[–] 0 pt

What would that have to do with a clot shot checkpoint? It's individual, not corporate.

[–] 0 pt

How does a license plate scanner tell them who's in the car?

[–] 1 pt

It at least tells them who owns it, that enuff to get started. They also have cell phone readers.

[–] 1 pt

I think they could do borderless enforcement. I would simply be subject to penalty for having out of state vehicle plates and identification.

[–] 1 pt

Certain states could absolutely do that. A lot of them, I doubt would want to, and they would not cooperate if the Feds tried to order them to.

Besides the fact preventing interstate travel is illegal, it would be very unpopular, even for the vaxxers. They would be inconvenienced too.

On the other hand, laws don't actually matter anymore and the vaxxers seem to not be concerned about being inconvenienced as long as it's framed as being Chinese virus related.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Yeah, probably. After what I saw with Milley, and how that is being treated, I have no doubt anymore that they'll do whatever the fuck they want. They're basically untouchable now.

[–] 3 pts

Not if you have your own car but if you use commercial services they will certainly try.

I'm curious to see if insurance companies will require vaccination, even for auto insurance.

Might see a lot of new bike riders going around.

I don't think this will pass constitutional muster seeing if they deny interstate travel or use of roads even by private owners, that is punishment against a specific group and the punishment doesn't stop or slow the spread of the made up disease.

[–] 2 pts

Ha,ha,ha, what constitution??

[–] 2 pts

Imagine that’s what cures America’s obesity problem. Insurance companies.

[–] 2 pts

You know how they have the tech for toll payment now so you don't have to stop. It can be used for other purposes.

[–] 2 pts

They already have cashless tolls and police cars have license plate scanners. America is a jewish police state.

[–] 1 pt

Literally cant. Unconstitutional. Plus states rights. So 2 amendments.

[–] 1 pt

They've been dropping hints about this for weeks, you can bet they'll do it for air and train travel because it's easy. Perhaps for bus travel too.

Honestly, they probably haven't done it yet because they are flying "unvaxxed" illegal immigrants to swing states, and don't want to make that harder.

Oh hell no. Don’t get me stuck in this awful state. I’m a house wife and stay at home mom, staying out of trouble to protect my family but I’ll lead armies to the fuckin White House if they try to keep me locked in Ohio. I never wanted to be back here to begin with and have been desperately trying to leave for years now. I said I couldn’t handle being back here but dumbass dragged me back anyway cuz who cares? He wants to go to NY, our happiness, safety and sanity don’t matter clearly. But I agreed cuz at least it’s not oHiO. If the COVID scam starts again NY will give us the hardest time. They had closed their border from NY to PA, if I remember correctly. Their COVID bullshit delayed our move enough already. Our random out of state trips help keep us sane. When we leave we don’t even go near people, usually we’ll go to a park and chill at a hotel with a nice view. We can’t have a house in the mountains with a nice view again yet cuz those evil faggots stopped everyone from being evicted and drove up housing prices since everyone wants to live where we do now. Yea I’m over this. You’re right though OP. Government likes waving it’s dick in our faces, they’ll do so every time they’re given the opportunity.

That’s been s local topic. I live in the rural area of the state near the state line. There is no real employment here. A large majority of they people here cross the state line to work, shop, entertainment, and medical care.

This area, both states, are also low on the vaccination rate.
