Supposedly we made six landings on the moon between 1969 and 1972, not just the one in 1969. (Crazy to think that we were landing on the moon every half a year for three years FIFTY YEARS AGO)
I think the missions’ purpose was to research effects the sun has on a surface where the evidence hasn’t been eroded away. I’m in the camp the sun gets super violent every several thousand years and sends us back to Stone Age. They found what they were looking for, and transferred the budget to figuring out to survive.
But they destroyed the equipment, and cant remember how it was made! Thats why they havent been (((back)))

And the high-res tapes of the moon landings were erased and overwritten by NASA. You can't make this up.
Only the first one. We went several times and the imagery is great in the later landings. The tracks of the rover have been seen by other countries moon orbiters.
I wonder if it could have been sabotage by internal employees. Maybe they saw how things were going in the 80s and they destroyed everything they could.
Or maybe israel stole it all.
Or maybe they faked it all.
NASA wasn't the only one with originals as they required assistance from all over the world for tracking. All of those tapes survive.
