I mean immigration was actually ok up until that point because it was limited to white western Europeans... how did the 1960s white majority Americans tricked into letting that shit happen? That should have been the absolute line in the sand moment2..

Would any one care if we had Irish and British immigration? White Christian?

It was ok when there wasn’t welfare. 1/3 of all immigrants went home because they couldn’t hack it. We kept the good ones (mostly) and got rid of the chaff.

Not so. If there was no welfare, but large-scale non-white immigration, the non-whites would still be attacking whites and demanding more and more status in society, while refusing to conform to American culture.

That's the point. Without welfare there would be no large scale non-white immigration.

Because people trust without putting curbs in place. It was sold as being "fair" and promises made that it wasn't a threat. If that were the case, someone should have proposed an amendment to guarantee the promises. They should have limited to composition of each year's immigration numbers to reflect the racial/ethnic balance in the US. If the US is 90% white, then 90% of immigrants have to be white, etc.

Ideally it should've been reverse, "how can we build a society in Africa for niggers to return to?", and "How can we return jews to their homeland?". While not having the border open for anything to come in.

Brought to you by the same people that enabled Dual Nationality Citizenship. Every. Single. Time.

I don't know the full history, but I believe Ted 'Hero of Chappaquiddick' Kennedy was a driving force behind the law. I am interested in what the public sentiment was at the time. From what I heard there were assurances that the country wouldn't be flooded with trash from 'shithole countries' obviously that is what happened.

As for today. This isn't history they want anyone to know about. Most people don't even know about this law. It helps (((their))) agenda to let people believe that this is how America has always been. That is likely what the normies think.

If anyone has any relatives alive that are in their 80s-90s, it would be interested to hear what they recall of the political climate regarding this bill.

White, Christian immigrants from Europe were able to quickly integrate with American culture. That's why immigration worked.
