It's simple, if small companies comply with small business destroying edicts then they will inevitably be out of business. A) If they do comply they will alienate and reduce half of their customers that refuse to follow the mandate edict, this is after they already complied to shut down their business for months to "stop the spread" with little compensation in return. This is a death knell. B) If they don't comply they will gain local support from the community as we've seen happen through this pandemic. The downside is they will be fined to death by local/state government. This can also be a death knell if they comply and pay or they can fight back on unconstitutional edict. You either die on your knees begging or die standing and fighting (figuratively) against these tyrants.
