Ah yes, India's Yuga system. In a few ways, it matches all the other systems. Every religious/mythological system talks about a war between different deities at the end of the current age. Creation, growth, misbehavior and then the great dying-off at the end. Then a new paradisal age begins. Read enough of this stuff and you begin to wonder if these are misapplied recollections of very ancient events. If the Book of Revelations is about a near future event, wouldn't the adversary also have access to the details and just put the breaks on it all with a long and sincere apology? Same with Loki and the Norse gods. Trickster Loki would know his doom and back up a wee bit and kiss Odin's ass. Hell, at least the Mahabharata admits to being a past even and not a prediction. I love that book and have read about a third of it in translation. Great book. (I did read the translated Ramayana which seems pretty dfamn historical to me. Google "Rama's Bridge" for some fun.
Namaste!
Don't be one of those "ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
For what it's worth (to you) I believe the Reformers reached the heights of purity as far as truth is concerned.
Why not check them out?
Do you refer to the Christian Reformation here?
Yes.
