I finally asked my boss for a raise and got it. After watching us raise all my subordinates pay; I simply said with the current market, I don't feel my salary is competitive anymore. There wasn't even any pushback.

Maybe it's time for top execs and CEOs to scale back pay.

Socialism is a form of government where transactions are based on the amount of words you say hence (social)ism. It doesn’t work because people can just talk indefinitely. That’s why it’s repeatedly failed across the globe.
