I finally asked my boss for a raise and got it. After watching us raise all my subordinates pay; I simply said with the current market, I don't feel my salary is competitive anymore. There wasn't even any pushback.

Maybe it's time for top execs and CEOs to scale back pay.

My cousin is related to the guy who invented coke. Not the guy who got rich off it though. Just think. Maybe in an alternative future he’s worth a billion dollars. Instead he does flooring.
