Do you think that this makes you objectively superior over others?
Because after all, you used an example in which, as far as I can tell, such a person kills another person that behaves differently.
Again it's not about being superior over others
It's about achieving the objective first and foremost. Because sometimes, even if you do everything "perfectly", it's still going to be a short win in the end, but a win nonetheless. And that is, if you don't fail evidently
I don't start with the premise that I'm going to largely prevail, because that leaves rooms to neglect. If I largely prevail then all the better
In your worldview, is it even possible for a person to be superior over another?
Again it's not about being superior over others
I acknowledge that for you, it is about something different. Like maximizing your chances of succeeding with a goal.
But i'm not curious in what this is about. I'm curious if you consider this to be a superior way to approach goals.
In your worldview, is it even possible for a person to be superior over another?
Absolutely. But superior how? Morally superior? Physically superior? Intellectually superior? All of that at the same time?
And who's superior between the one going under and the other? What guarantee there is in the end, that the technically inferior in all aspects isn't going to actually be the one bringing down the supposedly superior? Because the so called superior just didn't see it coming, because he just underestimated the threat for instance, too sure of himself. It's a classic. Or just because the other guy actually focused only on the objective, and didn't bring honor, pride, or whatever is unnecessary for the completion of the task, and focused only on what's necessary in order to achieve the objective. Whatever it takes.
I'm curious if you consider this to be a superior way to approach goals.
It's the most efficient, regardless of your skill level, it's the one that gives you the best chances of success. Now it doesn't mean you'll automatically succeed, there's no guarantee.
