They're not even that expensive, I think. They sound like a lot of fun, but I have heard stories about how if it sucks, then you're stuck in a shitty situation for a week.

Remember when corona started and there were cruise ships that wouldn't let the people off? That shit was ridiculous. Can you imagine? You're on a ship and 2 people on it got the chink flu so nobody can leave for an undisclosed amount of time. Fuck that.

But anyways, Let's say there is no corona. What company is the best, with the best experience to be had, and the best ships? Would it be perfectly fine to get one of the cheaper cabins and still have a lot of fun, or would it be way more worth the money to get a fancier, more expensive cabin?

I don't get it. I might own cattle later on though lol. Do you mean that it's hard to vacation with cattle at home to take care of?

What I mean is that being subject to the mob by putting yourself on a cruise ship is akin to being one head in a heard of cattle. You are trapped in a pen with a thousand others and you are just a number to whoever is running the show.
