I’ve been on a few and loved it most bad experiences are with the budget cruise lines(carnival) I’ve been on Norwegian and royal Caribbean. Don’t sail out of Tampa you lose two days at sea and Tampa is gross. Plan an excursion at every stop I always spent as much time as possible in the water diving or snorkeling and when that was done we would take a tour of the island if we had time . Most of the places we toured are shit holes with lazy dirty people but I thought of it like a zoo that had talking animals and had a blast . I’m a jeans and t shirt guy but we dressed up every night and had reservations for the fancy restaurants and had amazing meals that are included in the ticket price so why eat at the buffet Most of the “shows “ after dinner sucked but we got drunk and had fun with it Take lots of pictures I’ve got pictures of my son at just over 3 years old snorkeling with sea turtles and climbing a Aztec pyramid . Things we I never would have thought we would do but the cruise line gave us a save affordable way to fo it.
