I work for a large corporation in Canada and they are trying to get me to do a sleep study. Based on neck size body mass and that I'm male. Is there any way I can fight this?

They pay for it but that's not the point. I don't want it.

I had one. It isn't that bad. Just takes a while to fall asleep and before you fall asleep they put sensors on your chest and back and stuff. Its worth getting the study done to be able to get a cpap. Constant Positive Air pressure. I sleep with one every night. It helps keep your airway from closing. The worst thing for you is when your oxygen levels drop from snoring etc. if you are actually snoring so hard that you stop breathing then the cpap machine will make you sleep much better and deeper. You really don't need a cpap unless you find yourself really really groggy at work after a regular night of sleep. If thats the case then you are probably snoring hard and cutting off your airway and I would reccomend the cpap to fix that or lose weight. But either way if you are groggy then go get the sleep study so insurance can buy you the cpap.

That's all well and fine if you have the normal obstructive sleep apnea. If you have mixed sleep apnea it's a different story....
