My old landlord stole 1200 security from me because I only stayed in his shithole for 1 year. I moved 12 hours away and my mistake was letting him know where I went. Moral of the story is that the memory and the taste of revenge felt so much better than having the money. Get that mother fucker back, one way or another.

For security deposits I never pay the last month and have the landlord do an early inspection and go from there.
