I figure there should be a tradie credit score database for this kind of thing. If someone refuses to pay, log the incident, and the next guy they try to scam can look them up and see if they're worth the risk.

There is a website for it but I can't remember the damn name. Basically a Yelp for contractors and the customers.

Tbh though the guys that would get roped into it wouldn't use something like that. He had a bunch of immigrant non-licensed electricians and that was my first red flag. Then some Chinese dude rolls in that doesn't speak a word of english.
