My Dad is the only one who is on level, besides my husband. I'm very blessed that my husband isn't a retard. It seems like every time I see another woman post here, she's complaining about how the husband is clueless. That whole opposite attract thing is very real in many ways, and we fit that, but at least not on being healthy in relation to seeing reality.
6 gorillian.
Wife has seen much of the same data and historical patterns that I have, and she is largely on the same page as me. Kids are too young to understand this stuff.
I've got a sister that sees that there are problems with news media, entertainment media, finance, education industry, social media censorship, political funding, etc., but she can't make the connection. She's conservative by the standards of most of our extended family, but is still very much in the mindset that there are ambiguous "elites" attacking us, and that all races/ethnicities/religions could be happy neighbors without them. We can discuss some of reality, but there are limits beyond which she won't have conversation.
Most of my living extended family don't have conversations of any import. They just open their mouths and whatever the TV says comes out. I barely talk to them anymore. I think they're like most people - they're not actively trying to be enemies, but they instinctively feel safer on the side of whatever forces are in power, and they just don't want to think about it. If the tides ever turned in the culture war and our view gained popularity, they'd probably continue to be sheep and follow us rather than fight us.
(((They))) have done a good job at dividing us. Gotta give the evil bastards that.
There's no enemies in my family, they're just normal, ignorant people who don't know any better.
Except for my brother who's the only person I know just as racist and J-woke as me, maybe even more, but we never got along so it's the only thing we agree on. We're kinda like two sharks in a nest of fish at every family gathering.
My only sibling is a big sjw. He thinks the dems are going to help him even though he is a White male.
At least 30%
That's pretty lucky.
I did say at least. Im banking on a couple figuring it out before the battle lines are actually drawn.
One uncle and one grandmother. That boils downs to 20% for me. The rest have at least an understanding of what's really going on. I wouldn't call them "enemies," just ignorant and arrogant.
I guess I'm just bitter that instead of actually considering the data and refuting that, they attacked me and antagonized me and mocked me. They're two faced hypocritical idiots...
I hear you. I was referring to my relatives.
I know. I was referring to the 'enemies' part of my original statement and your response.
It's a bit hostile, but I'm frustrated and at the point where I see that unless someone is extremely aware and actively thinking about these things they're probably still subconsciously being conditioned and working towards the enemies goals.
Maybe your grandma was complimenting you
Her defense mechanism is to shame and insult instead of confronting information that will destroy her naive worldview.
