Modern country is total garbage. I would say play rock hits from the 60s up until now.
There's some new country that is good. Jon Pardi for example. But, yes, most of it's pop or even rap trash.

nobody truely gives a fuck as long as they dont find out that its from a nerdy source that they can pretend to be superior to, so restricting yourself to the tired crap played on the radio is so cringey.
I am quite sick of radio songs but the point would be that it's for all the idiots out there that still want to hear those songs for the millionth time.
red lobster and cracker barrel maintains a lily white customer base without any music at all. decoration and price is more important than music.
