What is body load? And I've always wanted to try DMT. Whichever form of it.
"Body load" refers to real or imagined chest or torso discomfort that can sometimes come as a side effect with psychedelics.
With psychedelic tryptamines such as LSD and mushrooms, it usually manifests as mild cramps, nausea, a tightness in the chest or other odd sensations. You should try to ignore them; they're mostly psychosomatic or a harmless digestive response.
Conversely, I've found that with psychedelic phenethelyamines such as mescaline, MDA/MDMA, DOx series, 2C-x series, etc., the feeling is generally far more pronounced and shouldn't be ignored in the same way as the former class; the discomfort can stem from a real issue such as high blood pressure or hypertension. I threw away entire stashes of psychedelics without ever trying them because of the fact I was unsure if it would be hellish or if I'd even survive. 2C-P and 2C-T-7 come to mind; had some, was scared of them, never took, tossed.
As a rule of thumb, treat all psychedelics with respect and have some benzo "abort buttons" handy if you feel like you need them, especially with the phens.
As for DMT: When people think "DMT", they are thinking of the potent, utterly world-shattering, short-acting n,n-DMT. The 4-AcO-DMT I mentioned is more of a psilocin/psilocybin susbstituted analogue and has a trip quality and duration very similar to mushrooms, subjectively more "pure" feeling on the body and vivid in the mind.
If the n,nDMT is more vivid how can the other one be the earth shattering one? I've also heard that nDMT has a more "isolated" feeling trip. Like you feel like it is just you and your crazy brain going wild, and the other feels like you're more in touch with everything and experiencing things other than yourself. Also I had some 2CB, 2CE, TC..., etc., as a kid. I was swallowing it, until my friend told me to snort it. That was, to this day, the most painful thing I have ever snorted by far. My friend said "it feels like the devil took a shit on ur face" and he was right. It burned like complete hell until the pain faced into numbness and then you were gone. I have since learned that shit is terrible to ingest nasally and can cause damage. I had some wild nights as a 16y/o tho . Lol
No no, they're completely different animals. 4-AcO is a prodrug/analog of psilocin and feels like shrooms. It's so rare and obscure, you may as well pretend it doesn't exist. I only talk about it because it's one of the best, most well rounded psychedlics out there.
n,n is the DMT people think of. It is by far the most powerful substance you'll ever touch. Hell, aside from a handful of really obscure chemicals which I won't name or go into, just consider it the most powerful hallucinogen, period.
No two trips are the same. If you manage to "break through", the world on the other side can take many forms, and it will heavily warp and twist the real world if you don't break through.
More often than not, you meet "intelligent life" or godlike foreign consciousnesses during a trip. Sometimes benevolent, sometimes malicious, sometimes ambivalent to your presence. Other times it'll transport you alone.
The visuals of DMT have certain characteristics, but are never the same. Kind of indescribable. Fractals and Aztec-style fuckery are common. Regardless, there's not much room for feelings of isolation when your whole world and identity is torn to shreds, and any emotions you do feel may have paradoxically opposite implications. For example: One time I was taken to a "Cathedral of Hate", a big open-air pyramid with evil architecture, in a desert on a foreign planet with an orange sky. I was alone, soaking up the evil energy of the place... It was one of the most outright calm, euphoric, and peaceful trips I've had. Weird, right?
The trips don't last long when smoked (5-10min). When prepared into the traditional nasty goop and drunk, known as Ayahuasca, it lasts a couple hours or so, but it is far less extreme.
Lol at snorting the 2C series. I never did that because the pain associated with it is legendary.
