Because modern day / young people are all vacuous npcs.

Because we've already seen that young aspirations lead to a big ass waste of time. Get a wife that loves you and have kids. Be proud of hard work. Everything can be taken away from you at any moment. You are owed nothing.

Why are (insert any descriptor) people so lame and unfriendly?

Either you found a bad batch or you're the weirdo and you haven't figured it out yet.

Best answer here.

If you walk down the street and meet an asshole... he's probably an asshole.

If everyone you meet is an asshole... you're probably the asshole.

Because millennials are the worst plague ever seen in the history of mankind, you're all whiny, willfully ignorant, pussies, that have destroyed America and destroy everything you come into contact with.

Just keep your fucking face in your fucking phone stupid.

That's why.

By the time you hit middle age, you realize that everything you hear in the media and from the politicians is pure self-serving bullshit. It makes you cynical. You don't have time for wide-eyed liberals who swallow the whole narrative. They are just annoying when they try to tell you how backward and unintelligent you are. The arrogant little snots know nothing about anything, yet they are telling their elders what to believe.

What makes you interesting and friendly? Spell it out.

Good question actually. I think it's because they've been pigeon holed into "career" that isn't what they actually want to do and fear striking out on their own. Debt, familiarity(of position), kids, all these things keep them from finding purpose.

GenX typical

I haven't experienced this, the opposite actually.
